I’ve remixed Interactions composition from Noise for Strings, Vol. 1 album for an 8-channel sound installation in VR environment, presented at the Ars Electronica Festival 2020 as part of the Kunstuniversität Linz SOUND CAMPUS in Metaverse from 9–13 September 2020. The Metaverse is a social and public virtual environment for a sound art exhibition and concerts. It is a multiplayer game on a cruise with live concerts (from 10 to 12 September 2020) and more than 30 sound artworks/installations. Download the app and enter the Metaverse. Also available for Oculus VR.
Interactions were exhibited as a musical work, created for acoustic territories arriving in the virtual deck of the metaverse. The pavilion was conceived as a large group of boat cabins featuring compositions created at diverse latitudes of our real world.
About Interactions: “I wake up some little creatures and give them voices. Some are mechanic and sound quite similar to organic ones, but it doesn’t matter so much… Some sounds reveal entire landscapes or vast, spacious halls. Some stories are told by resonating the theme, and often I’m not completely aware of where the composition is heading…”
