The archive is never complete. It tells the history from its own perspective and it is always a displacement, a misconception, a mis-contextualisation of the work. If one is ready to accept these inconsistencies, one may learn a great deal about cultural movements. When dealing with archives of contemporary art, one also wonders about the need to delete, forget and move on from the trap of the old and the absurd of endless conversion of analogue and digital formats.
